Las Capullanas

A HIDDEN GEM IN NORTHERN PERU

What was meant to be a three-day stop became six unforgettable weeks.

Lobitos is a place that slowly pulled me into a different rhythm of life: long left waves, sunrise surf sessions, and evenings spent bouldering by the sea.

A few weeks later, friends took me deep into the desert to Las Capullanas, a place that felt almost unreal — giant stones and natural shapes unlike anything I had ever seen before. We crossed the dunes by tuk-tuk, explored caves and narrow tunnels, and arrived just in time to watch the sun disappear into the Pacific.

A hidden paradise where time moved slower, and life felt beautifully simple.
